I believe what you composed was actually very reasonable. But, what about this? what if you added a little content? I am not saying your content isn't good, but suppose you added something that grabbed people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You might peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they write post titles to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a pic or two to grab readers excited about what you've written. In my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.
